Position Papers, Statements & Guidelines
CDHA provides leadership on critical and emerging issues related to oral
health and dental hygiene by enhancing access to research evidence,
facilitating timely application of research to practice through knowledge
translation and developing position papers and statements on a given topic.
Evidence-informed resources synthesize and analyze the available evidence on
a given topic and develop recommendations to inform policy, programming and
dental hygiene practice.
Use CDHA position papers, statements and guidelines as a self-study activity
to inform your clinical practice.
Many provincial/territorial dental hygiene regulatory authorities provide
CE credit for self-study activities of a scientific nature.
