CDHA exists so that its members are able to provide quality preventive and therapeutic oral health care as well as health promotion for all persons living in Canada.

Global End: CDHA exists so that its members are able to provide quality, equitable, inclusive oral health care and health promotion for all persons living in Canada.

The Ends below have the following priorities, and resources shall be allocated accordingly.

• E1 Public Recognition (equal top priority)
  The Canadian public recognizes our commitment to quality and innovation, acknowledging dental hygienists as primary healthcare professionals.
• E2 Professional Knowledge (equal top priority)
  Members contribute to and utilize evolving professional knowledge and research, demonstrating leadership in advancing the profession.
• E3 Public Policy Environment (equal second priority)
  Decision makers have the necessary information to positively impact the dental hygiene profession and the health of all persons living in Canada.
• E4 Professional Practice (equal second priority)
  Members are equipped with resources to promote a standard of excellence as an integral part of a healthcare team, ensuring a healthy and respectful workplace.
