You could earn over 15 professional development hours! CDHA professional development is usually recognized by your regulatory authority and can contribute to your quality assurance requirements; however, continuing education “credits” are determined by the regulator. CDHA members should contact their provincial regulatory body to find out how many hours or credits they are eligible to receive for attending the conference.

Your certificate of attendance and select handouts will be available after the conference by Friday, November 27, at cdha.ca/profile. Session handouts are not provided beforehand, so please come prepared to take notes and ask the speaker for permission to take photos during their presentation, if appropriate.

No, the preconference workshop is not part of the conference registration. Please refer to the Registration & Fees for more details.

No. The preconference workshop will be held at Dalhousie University, in the Student Union Building, room 303. Check the conference program for the agenda and register early, as spaces are limited.

Preconference workshop registration includes a light breakfast and a lunch.

The registration fee does not include transportation. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to Dalhousie University.

The preconference registration deadline is Monday, November 2, at noon ET.

CDHA’s national conference is being held at the Halifax Convention Centre located at 1650 Argyle Street, Halifax, NS B3J 0E6. The convention centre is only a short 5-minute walk (0.3 kilometres) away from The Hollis Halifax and an even shorter 1-minute walk (0.1 km) away from Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Downtown.

The early bird registration deadline is October 8. Register before then and save up to $100!

The welcome reception is included with full conference and Friday-only registration options. It is not included with Saturday-only registration.
