During this presentation, sponsored by PHILIPS, dental hygienists will examine the inflammatory process and the impact of biofilm on peri-implant disease. Learn to recognize clinical, radiographic, and histological features that distinguish peri-implant health, mucositis, and peri-implantitis. Using clinical scenarios and guidelines from the American Academy of Periodontology, apply the disease classification system for peri-implant diseases and conditions, and utilize evidence-based treatment strategies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and implant longevity.
