How Do CDHA Webinars Work?

The information provided below will help you better understand how CDHA webinars work. If you need further information, send us an email at webinars@cdha.ca.

Webinar Registration & Viewing

All CDHA webinars are pre-recorded and released periodically for immediate viewing. Once registered, you can watch the webinar from your My Profile page at your convenience.

Watch our quick how-to video to see how easy it is to access a webinar:

Webinar Expiration Dates

When a member registers for a webinar, it will be available until their current membership expires. A member can re-register after that date as long as the member has renewed their membership and the webinar is still available in our online library. When a non-member purchases a webinar, it will be available for one year from the purchase date. Webinar expiration date(s) will be listed in your online profile. CDHA strongly recommends viewing webinars well in advance of the expiry date.

+

Self-Reflection Questions

Self-reflection questions are required to complete the webinar and receive a certificate of completion. Before submitting your answers, use the provided document to copy and paste your responses, and save a copy to your personal device for future reference. Once you have completed the self-reflection questions and all other curriculum items, your certificate will be available on your CDHA profile.

+

Number of Credits/Hours

CDHA webinars are generally one hour long; however, the estimated completion time is on the second page of your certificate and is also published on the webinar landing page. Please consult your regulatory authority to determine the number of eligible credits.

+

Certificate of Completion

Your certificate of completion will be issued automatically once you have completed all required curriculum items. To receive your certificate, you must watch the presentation, download required handouts or files, and complete a survey and self‑reflection questions. Your certificate will then be available on your CDHA profile.
