Presenter
Joanna Asadoorian PhD, RDH
Joanna Asadoorian is dental hygiene program coordinator and
professor at George Brown College in Toronto. Joanna completed her
Associates degree at Erie Community College, BSc (Dental Hygiene)
and MSc at the University of Toronto, and her PhD at the University
of Manitoba, in Community Health Sciences. Her doctoral research was
in knowledge translation, specifically exploring clinical
decision-making capacity. Joanna has conducted studies in continuing
competency, self-assessment, and reflection in educational
curriculum and home care practices.
