2019 Federal Election

As you know, advocacy is an important part of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association’s work to ensure that the issues affecting the dental hygiene profession are understood clearly by our elected officials.

We urge CDHA members to help politicians of all political stripes, and at all levels, understand the vital role dental hygienists play in helping to ensure optimal oral and overall health for Canadians.

CDHA Advocacy Toolkit – 2019 Federal Election Edition

To support you, CDHA has developed a new Federal Election Advocacy Toolkit. The toolkit has all of the information you need to successfully advocate for oral health priorities and explains, step by step, how to engage your local candidates in a meeting or discussion.

CDHA 2019 Federal Election Brief – Priorities for preventive oral care

In the lead-up to the federal election, CDHA is proposing smart, reasonable, and necessary solutions that government can adopt to improve the oral health of Canadians.
