Nutrition Labelling

Today's food environment can make it challenging for Canadians to make healthier food choices, but using labels can help. Health Canada's Food and Nutrition Directorate developed the Nutrition Labelling Online Course for health professionals and educators to improve their understanding of food labels. Completing this course will increase your knowledge of the latest nutrition labelling information.

The course has eight modules of which seven are simulated negotiations that you will conduct with animated computer characters. The characters make statements, ask questions, use a wide variety of negotiation tactics, express strong emotions, and otherwise create challenges for you.

Each province/territory has different rules concerning the types of professional development that are eligible for CE credit.
