Independent Practice Advisor

CDHA is seeking an individual to provide support for dental hygienists who are practising independently. This advisor will respond to all enquiries relating to independent practice, monitor the Independent Practice Community listerv, and work with the insurance industry. The successful applicant must be an RDH, and an active CDHA member. He or she must own or practise in an independent practice, and have at least 5 years of related experience. View the full posting

Oral Health in Remote First Nations Communities: Call to Action

CDHA is pleased to see that the 2015 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada focus on the critical issue of access to health services and medical transportation for remote First Nations communities. First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples experience unacceptably high rates of oral disease, often requiring treatment that is not available locally.
