July 1, 2005 The federal government has removed the $800 threshold for oral health services for First Nations and Inuit peoples. This means that clients will no longer have to wait for a review of service requests that exceed $800. Over the course of several years, CDHA requested program changes such as this in our briefs to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance, and the Standing Committee on Health. The federal government has now acted upon our requests!
