Remineralize & Prevent Caries with Varnish Technology

Over 50 years of extensive research has consistently demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of fluorides in the prevention of dental caries. Professional fluoride treatments have changed over the years, giving practices many treatment options from which to choose. Strategies to Supercharge Students & Clients

Do students seem uninterested or apathetic about your course or content? Do clinicians seem to repeat the same advice to clients with little change in results because of low client motivation? As educators and clinicians, we can motivate and inspire ourselves, students, and clients. In this session, the facilitator will present research findings that hold direct implications for teaching and motivating your learners and clients. You will gain a better understanding of motivation, how students and clients learn, what you can do to facilitate that learning, and you will be able to identify some activities to help engage students in the learning process.

Bugs, Drugs and Food Fads

We are a self-medicating, hype-believing society that wants a quick fix fast. If Dr. Oz says it’s good for us, we head straight to the local pharmacy or health store to see if we can find it on the shelves. Our bodies need vitamins and minerals to function efficiently but which ones—and how much? Probiotic use is a fast-growing market in regards to general health and oral health. As dental professionals, we need to know the implications. Supplements promise everything from weight loss to increased energy. How can we be certain the claims are true? Do food trends such as Acai berry, energy drinks and juicing have a potential impact on oral health? Join us for this webinar, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, to explore the changing landscape of probiotic use, dietary supplements, and food fads and how these trends could potentially impact client care.
