Gift From the Heart was launched in 2009 by CDHA member, RRDH Bev Woods, as an Ontario initiative, where on one day dental hygienists can give back to the community by providing no cost treatment to those that cannot afford dental hygiene services. Traditionally the event has been held close to Valentine’s Day but this year the event will kick off National Dental Hygienists Week™. More than 40 clinics are already registered to participate in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan. We'd like to see the rest of the country represented!
