CDHA member, Jan Douglas, had this to say about the course:
“Jo-Anne Jones delivered a dynamic and comprehensive presentation with a multitude of relevant accessible resources, for both practitioners and clients, on the current trends in oral and oropharyngeal cancers and the rising numbers related to HPV infection. The demonstration of a thorough extra-oral and intra-oral examination, effective documentation and referral, as well as strategies for health promotion and education to clients regarding risk factors and lifestyle modifiers was particularly helpful and placed the emphasis on early detection and prevention.”
