This two-part workshop is designed to assist new researchers and aspiring writers in successfully preparing their manuscripts for publication. Converting one’s research into a scientific paper is not a simple task and requires a succinct writing style and inclusion of several critical components. Part A consists of a 1-hour presentation on journal author guidelines and the peer-review process; writing tips will be shared. Part B consists of hands-on training in analyzing actual manuscripts. This analysis will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of how to present their research in a way that increases its chances of publication.

Two weeks prior to the workshop, participants will be divided into teams. Each team will receive two sample manuscripts that should be read in advance. During the hands-on session, teams will be placed in Zoom breakout rooms to review their manuscripts and discuss why they were rejected for publication. Each team will then present their findings to the group.

IMPORTANT: By registering for this interactive event, you consent to having your contact information shared with the presenter and other participants to facilitate the hands-on session.

Note: Registration for this interactive workshop is limited to 12 participants. A minimum of 6 participants is required to proceed.
