Summary

CDHA recently published a position statement and clinical practice guideline on interdental brushing. These documents were based in large part on the 2012 systematic review article on interdental brushes, which was published in the Canadian Journal of Dental Hygiene. This webinar will inform the dental hygienist about the development and use of position papers and statements, and also equip participants with the skills to locate, interpret, and put position statements into practice. Discussion will be focused on creating evidence-based, client-centred oral self-care education and instruction, while taking into consideration your client's preferences, motivation, and level of ability.
