Summary

This presentation will provide an overview of the results of the June 2017 CDHA job market and employment survey, focusing on trends in compensation segmented by geography and other criteria. The webinar will also examine the factors that affect compensation and what increases might be expected by dental hygienists at different stages in their careers.

Janet Munn, RDH, BDH

Janet has 28 years of experience as a dental professional, 24 of which as a dental hygienist working in various settings, including general practice, orthodontics, restorative dental hygiene, youth services, long-term care, and education. For many years, she was the clinic coordinator at Algonquin College, Ottawa. Janet graduated with a diploma in dental hygiene from Dalhousie University and then returned to Dalhousie to complete the baccalaureate dental hygiene program. Janet is the Director of Dental Hygiene Practice at the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association.
