CDHA President’s Welcome

On behalf of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) board of directors, I would like to invite you to CDHA’s first-ever virtual conference!

CDHA recognizes the significant impact that the pandemic has had on the profession and the health and well-being of Canadians. To further protect members and reduce the risk of SARS-Cov-2 transmission, the decision was made to bring the conference safely to you at home.

The theme of this year’s conference, Achieving a Healthy Workplace, is timely and relevant to the current landscape of oral health care. CDHA believes that every dental hygienist is entitled to work in a healthy and respectful environment, and we hope this conference empowers you to achieve your workplace goals.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges over the last year, the delivery of essential dental hygiene services continues across the country. To acknowledge your dedication, perseverance, and strength in 2021 we are pleased to provide renewing CDHA members with an all-inclusive professional development experience for a special low price.

Join us on October 29 and 30 as we bring professional development and community to you! I look forward to “seeing” you online and sharing these many opportunities for virtual learning.
