Virtual Conference

After careful consideration, CDHA and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) will be deferring plans to co-host an in-person North American dental hygiene conference to a later year. This decision was made to ensure public health and safety of our members and community during the pandemic. Given the current situation, our October conference is going virtual!

Save the date for the first-ever CDHA virtual conference October 29–30, 2021. Additional details will be available in the spring!

Purpose of the Virtual Conference

CDHA recognizes the significant impact that the pandemic has had on the profession and your health and wellbeing. The virtual conference is being designed to bring learning, networking, and community safely to your home.

The purpose of the virtual conference is to:

  • Recognize the importance of health and wellbeing and empower dental hygienists to achieve their full scope of practice
  • Foster a spirit of collaboration to improve client care and advance the profession
  • Share best clinical practices and build collegial relationships from coast to coast
  • Encourage networking among oral health researchers, educators, clinicians, and subject matter experts
  • Support efforts to create healthy and respectful workplaces free from harassment, bullying, and violence
  • Communicate information about valid and useful research tools and resources

Here’s what oral health professionals had to say about CDHA’s last conference:
