The Saskatchewan Dental Hygienists’ Association (SDHA):

The SDHA is the regulatory body for over 650 Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) in the province of Saskatchewan and is mandated by the provincial government, under The Dental Disciplines Act, to carry out its activities and govern its members in a manner that serves and protects the public interest.

In protecting the public, the SDHA ensures that dental hygienists are educated to perform safe and appropriate dental hygiene services and that they follow the practice standards set out by the association. All licensed dental hygienists in Saskatchewan are members of the SDHA and the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA).
