The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) is currently seeking an

Executive Assistant to the CEO

for a maternity leave replacement contract, effective mid-October 2018 until April 2020.

The executive assistant is responsible for providing support to the CEO, the CDHA board of directors, and the Foundation board and program manager. The executive assistant will also coordinate specific projects as required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative support experience in an office setting, ideally within an association or not-for-profit environment and in support of the CEO/Executive Director and a board of directors. The candidate must have superior administrative, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and synthesize information. He or she must demonstrate discretion and sound judgement and can set their own priorities and meet deadlines on a number of concurrent activities.

Additional key skill requirements include proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), data entry and database search experience (membership databases, and specifically iMIS considered an asset). Bilingualism is an asset.

Finally, candidates should possess the ability to work independently and collegially in an open office environment.
