Manager of Professional Practice

The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) is looking for a seasoned dental hygiene leader to join our amazing staff team in Ottawa as Manager of Professional Practice.

As member of CDHA’s dental hygiene practice team and reporting to the director of dental hygiene practice, the manager of professional practice develops and leads the implementation of evidence-informed programs, special projects and services to support members in a wide variety of practice settings and serves as the primary staff resource for dental hygiene practice-related issues/questions (scroll down for the complete job description).

As a qualified candidate, you are a registered dental hygienist with an undergraduate degree. You have the ability to conduct research into workplace and professional practice issues and to apply the findings to support members in their practice of the profession. Sound knowledge and expertise regarding practice guidelines, standards, policies and procedures are used to put in place evidence-informed programs, systems and resources that promote healthy and respectful workplaces for dental hygienists.

This opportunity is located in beautiful Ottawa, Ontario and is full-time, indeterminate. Residence within the Ottawa region and having a physical presence at the CDHA Ottawa office is essential.
