Summary

As we approach the end of a decade of strong growth in independent practice in Canada, with exceptional growth in the last two years alone, current independent dental hygienists (IDHs) and those interested in learning more about what it takes to be an IDH are invited to attend our networking event.

CDHA’s Independent Practice Advisor, Amanda Acker, will provide a brief update at the beginning of the session, and then a panel of IDHs, working in both fixed and mobile practices, will share their successes and challenges with the audience. Listen to their stories and take in the pearls of knowledge they will pass along.

After the panel discussion, mix and mingle to discuss issues and opportunities relevant to dental hygiene entrepreneurs. A representative from Public Health Sudbury & Districts will also be on hand to answer your pressing infection control questions! This Connections Café will help you learn about what it takes to become an IDH in Canada. So, bring your business cards and expand your network of like-minded professionals!
