Summary
As we approach the end of a decade of strong growth in independent practice in Canada, with exceptional
growth in the last two years alone, current independent dental hygienists (IDHs) and those interested
in learning more about what it takes to be an IDH are invited to attend our networking event.
CDHA’s Independent Practice Advisor, Amanda Acker, will provide a brief update at the beginning of the
session and then several IDHs, in both fixed and mobile practices, will share their successes and
challenges with the audience. Listen to their stories and take in the pearls of knowledge they will
pass along.
After the presentations, mix and mingle with both established and aspiring IDHs to discuss issues and
opportunities relevant to dental hygiene entrepreneurs. This will also be an excellent opportunity
to learn about what it takes to become an IDH in Canada. You’ll also have a chance to swap contact
information, so bring your business cards and expand your network of like-minded professionals!
