Manager of Professional Development

The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) is looking for a dental hygiene educator to join our amazing staff team in Ottawa as manager of professional development. This dental hygienist would have a sound knowledge of adult education principles, experience in project management, and the ability to strategically plan a suite of professional development (PD) offerings to continually meet the needs of CDHA’s national membership. A member of CDHA’s dental hygiene practice team and reporting to the director of dental hygiene practice, the manager of professional development is responsible for the development and delivery of CDHA’s PD offerings to members and dental hygienists nationally, including online courses, webinars, workshops, and the biennial national conference (scroll down for the complete job description).

As a qualified candidate, you are a registered dental hygienist with an undergraduate degree. You have teaching experience in an accredited dental hygiene program or experience delivering adult education. You are a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator with a passion for imparting knowledge.

This position is located in beautiful Ottawa, Ontario, and is full time, indeterminate.
